L’ Ambassadeur Douale a reçu M. Éric Mottu Chef de Mission du FMI en charge de la République de Djibouti.En effet, le Chef de Mission a remercié l’Ambassadeur pour son accueil et sa disponibilité malgré son emploi de temps chargé. Il a ensuite expliqué la récente publication du rapport du FMI concernant la consultation 2015 au titre de l'article IV sur l'économie djiboutienne qui est généralement dans la perspective économique favorable sur les années à venir grâce l'essor des investissements. Selon la prévision macro-économique, la croissance du PIB est estimée à 6,5% en 2016 similaire qu’en 2015, avec une prévision de 7% sur la période de 2017-2016. |

Djibouti seeks public and private solutions to social housing shortfallGovernment authorities are looking to partnerships and new programmes in a bid to address Djibouti’s affordable housing deficit. In mid-September President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh announced a social housing plan that will provide 20,000 units, funded by grants from multiple donors, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Morocco and China. While the total value of the programme has yet to be disclosed, the completed housing units are expected to cost tenants between DJF15,000 ($84.40) and DJF40,000 ($225) per month, according to press reports. |
