The launch of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's 2025 Africa Trade Policy.
H.E. Siad Douale participated in a roundtable on February 7, 2025, during the launch of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's 2025 International Trade Policy for African ambassadors accredited to the United States.
This event was chaired by Kendra Gaither, President of the U.S.-Africa Business Center, and took place inside the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. It provided an opportunity to discuss strategies for advancing Africa’s development through U.S. investments in trade, technology, the digital economy, critical minerals, sustainability, and life sciences, with a particular focus on the tourism sector.
To drive this agenda forward, a task force was created to shape policies that will help businesses find new opportunities for growth in the U.S. and across Africa, fostering lasting prosperity for both Africans and Americans through job creation and entrepreneurial spirit.
